In days gone by, the tagline of the the old gray lady, aka The New York Times, was “all the news that’s fit to print.” Times being what they are, and as technology has advanced, print is giving way to video, a lot of video.
When it came producing video with that signature NYT slant, the people pulling the old gray lady’s puppet strings turned to a talent from Democratic presidential campaigns. His name is Nick Dudich and his title is “Audience Strategy Editor”.
A member of James O’Keefe’s team at Project Veritas, caught up with him, and of course there was undercover video involved.
In the video, Dudich, a veteran of the 2016 Clinton campaign for president, admits that he is working to only help Democrats (that’s most likely why he was hired). He also makes no apology for it. He talks about ruining the Trump brand and sparking boycotts of Trump properties.
Dudich even displays his hatred for President Donald Trump and explains how he is trying to destroy him:
“I’d target his businesses, his dumb f*ck of a son, Donald Jr., and Eric. …
Target that. Get people to boycott going to his hotels. Boycott … So a lot of the Trump brands, if you can ruin the Trump brand and you put pressure on his business and you start investigating his business and you start shutting it down, or they’re hacking or other things. He cares about his business more than he cares about being President. He would resign. Or he’d lash out and do something incredibly illegal, which he would have to.”
This, of course, is in direct violation of NYT personnel policy, as James O’Keefe demonstrates, but that isn’t stopping Dudich from trying to take down a president by attacking his business and his family.
And then the claims in the video get surreal. Dudich claims a personal connection to former FBI Director James Comey that could not be confirmed, but if it was true, should neutralize him at the Times according to the ethical guidelines at the paper.
He then claims a connection to Anitfa, having been an Anti-Fa “punk” at one time. He even went so far as to show off a scar from a Neo-Nazi’s tooth. Later in the video, Dudich made additional claims that are fantastic in the context of domestic terrorism. Seriously, he’s either delusional, or thought he had a chance with the under cover reporter who caught his comments on candid camera.
So, what did James O’Keefe’s latest fifteen minutes of fame featuring a master story teller reveal to us? Watch and see.
