BREAKING: Texas Tech Student Shoots Campus Cop In Head!

A student at Texas Tech has shot a Campus Police Officer in the head killing him.
According to the statement released that I will post, the Campus Police had gone to the student’s room to do a welfare check. When they entered the room, they found drug paraphernalia and took the student to the Campus Police station for questioning. While the Officer was interviewing the student, he pulled a handgun he had concealed on him and shot the cop in the head.
Like the man he just proved himself to be [heavy emphasis on sarcasm] he took off running after he shot the Officer.

The campus was placed on lockdown while the Campus Police searched for the student. Somehow they managed to apprehend the student without killing him. Say what you want about this, but they should have saved the taxpayers a ton of money that could go to hurricane relief and killed the student… After all, he just murdered a cop in Texas… He is a walking dead man now anyway since Texas is well known for a liberal application of the death penalty.

Then again, had they killed the student we would have had to listen to the family tell us what a sweet kid he is and how he would never have hurt anyone, blah, blah, blah…

The name of the Texas Tech University Police Officer has not been released yet, but the student has been identified as Hollis A. Daniels.
The scene is now secure, and the campus lockdown has been lifted.

This is the official statement released by Texas Tech University:
“Earlier this evening, Texas Tech Police made a student welfare check. Upon entering the room, officers found evidence of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Officers brought the suspect to the police station for standard debriefing.
During this time, the suspect pulled a gun and shot an officer in the head. The officer is deceased. The suspect fled on foot and is currently still at-large.
Texas Tech University campus is on lockdown.
We will update as more information becomes available.”
